Franciscan Celebrates DIII Week - April 4-10

 

Schedule of Events: 

Monday, April 4 - JERSEY DAY!

All Student Athletes are encouraged wear their uniform, warm up, or team gear to represent their specific sport!

Home Game

Women's Lacrosse - 5:00 pm vs. Waynesburg

 

Tuesday, April 5 - "Pie in the Face"!

Students can come outside of the JC Williams Center from 11am-2pm and pay $1 to pie an athlete in the face!

Softtball - 3:00 pm doubleheader vs. Penn State Altoona

 

Wednesday, April 6 - LAX DAY - DUNK TANK!

Students pay $1 to dunk student athletes, coaches, staff and faculty.  Located at the intramural fields during Lacrosse games at 3:30pm and 5:30pm.  Event will go from 3-6pm and have 3-4 Dunkee’s per hour!

Thursday, April 7 - Gatorade Give Away Day!

SAAC will set up a stand in front of Cosmos & Damien and student athletes will pass out Gatorade to students during class breaks at 10:45-11am, 12:15-12:45, and 2-2:15pm.  

The student athletes will host a dance at Froelich's Classic Corner from 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Admission is $3, $2 if you come dressed as an athlete. (UPDATED DATE/TIME)

Friday, April 8 - Scavanger Hunt!

Student Athletes compete in a campus scavenger hunt.  Teams of 5.  There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.   

 

Saturday, April 9 - Fill the Stands!

Pack the sidelines at the Women’s Lacrosse Game to show school spirit!

Women's Tennis - 1:00 pm vs. West Liberty (Western Area YMCA) (Postponed)

Men's Tennus - 4:30 pm vs. Pitt. Greensburg (Western Area YMCA)

 

Sunday, April 10 - Student Athlete Social in the Heights!

Student Athlete Social in the heights at 9pm, weather permitting the fire will be on, music playing, and food will be available (first come, first serve).
