Ruggers Fall to Salve Regina, Battle for 3rd Tomorrow

Chatham Spoils Senior Night for Gallagher and Lady Barons
STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – The Lady Barons of Franciscan University hosted the Chatham University Lady Cougars in a doubleheader on Thursday afternoon. It was Senior Night, honoring Franciscan’s lone senior Amelia Gallagher, but the celebration was spoiled by two Chatham victories. The Lady Cougars won game one, 8-2, and game two, 10-0.

Barons Recognized For Their Brains
STEUBENVILLE, Ohio—During the fall 2011 season, Franciscan University student-athletes brought much recognition to Steubenville; the women’s cross country team topped the Alleghany Mountain Collegiate Conference, claiming the AMCC Championship for a fourth time, and both the women’s tennis and men’s cross country teams were AMCC runners-up.
