STEUBENVILLE - Junior Elizabeth McNulty continued her phenomenal junior campaign this past weekend breaking her own school record in the 200-yard butterfly and was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Swimmer of the Week for the fourth time this season.
McNulty won all three individual races and helped the 400-medley relay team to a first-place time on Saturday.
The junior set the school record in the 200-butterfly in her first individual race of the day with a time of 2:15.67; the previous record stood at 2:17.35 (McNulty's in 2015). McNulty finished the day three-for-three in individual races with a win in the 200-yard IM (2:26.68) and a win in the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.11). The 400-yard medley relay team captured a first-place time of 4:30.43, edging out the Cabrini relay team by eight-tenths of a second.
McNulty and the Lady Barons take the week off as they prepare for the AMCC championship meeting beginning on February 8 hosted by Penn State Behrend.
