Morelli was named Sports Information Director in the Fall of 2021, after serving in an interim basis upon the departure of Seth Goodyear. With the added responsibilities, he stepped down form Head Women's Golf Coach to an Assistant role in the Spring of 2022

In the 2020-21 golf season, Morelli helped lead Gia Hooper to the best season in program history. For her efforts Gia was named to the First Team All-PAC. 

In 2019 the program earned their first win in their inaugural season against Geneva at home, Steubenville Country Club. The Lady Barons won 3-1 in the match play event. The season culminated at the Fall PAC Championship, the first two rounds of a three round championship, where the Lady Barons placed 6th out of eight teams. Due to COVID-19 the spring season was canceled, and hence the final round of the PAC Championship did not take place.
 
Morelli comes to Franciscan after graduating from Robert Morris in May of 2016. Morelli earned his degree is management and finance. While at RMU, Morelli served as a student assistant coach for the Colonials women’s basketball team. He had a hand in communicating and recruiting players from over 20 countries as well as helping to organize and promote all of Coach Sal Buscaglia’s summer camps. Morelli organized and assisted with in-season practice and off-season workouts and assisted in coaches’ meetings and various other tasks as directed by Coach Buscaglia.

Prior to RMU, Morelli played golf for four years at Catholic Central and helped the Crusaders to an OVAC team win his freshman and senior seasons. Morelli lives in Wintersville with his wife Monica '18, daughter Siena, and son Lawrence.
