FUS freshman Regina Recznik made the first goal of the second half in the 75th minute, with a goal that bounced off a defender and was put in the high right corner. Sherman of the Lady Panthers scored her second goal in the 77th minute, giving her team the shot for a come-back. But Evangelho scored again in the 88th minute and the Lady Barons kept their two-point lead until the end.

Athletic Director Chris Ledyard commented on the game saying, "The girls made quick decisions and they recognized each other's runs. There was great strength and capability shown by the girls who scored...It was an impressive game. They really came together as a team; they rotated well and kept each other fresh. It's obvious that they peaked at the end of the season with these five wins in a row."

The Lady Barons would like to thank all who supported them throughout this fall season and look forward to continuing success next year.
