ERIE, PA - The Franciscan University Lady Barons got off to a poor start and fell into a deficit against Penn State Behrend from which they could not recover, losing 65-29. This is the fourth loss in a row for the Lady Barons, second in a row on the road.  

The Lady Barons were unable to score in the first eight minutes of the first half as Penn State Behrend took an early 21-0 lead. The Lady Barons were able to establish some offensive rhythm toward the end of the first half, trailing 41-11.  

Despite the loss several Lady Barons posted impressive numbers. Nicole Naugle led the Lady Barons in scoring with twelve points, while Marian Weber added six.  Angelle Cupit led the team in rebounds with 14, and Nicole Naugle contributed five blocks.  

The Lady Barons' record now stands at 3-6 (1-5) as they prepare for their home game against the Univ. of Pitt Greensburg Monday night at 6 p.m.
