Lady Barons Fall to University of Pitt Bradford

The Lady Barons took on University of Pitt Bradford on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Barons got off to a slow start from which they were unable to recover, eventually losing, 78-41.

Jordan Henneberry hit a three-pointer in the first three minutes, but this was the only real offensive spark the Lady Barons had in the game's opening, and the Lady Barons soon found themselves trailing, 10-3. By halftime, University of Pitt Bradford had increased their lead to 35-14.

The Lady Barons were more efficient on offense in the second half, but they were still outscored by University of Pitt Bradford, 43-27. When the final buzzer sounded, the Lady Barons had suffered a difficult 78-41 loss.

Several Lady Barons posted impressive numbers in the loss. Cara Mitchell led the Lady Barons with sixteen points, while Jordan Henneberry contributed eight. Angelle Cupit had the most rebounds of any player in the game with twelve, while Marian Weber added ten of her own.

The Lady Barons (3-9, 1-8) take on Penn State Altoona at home on Wednesday at six p.m.
