PITTSBURGH, PA - The Lady Barons soccer team of Franciscan University of Steubenville took on La Roche on Tuesday night, losing 2-0. With the loss, the Lady Barons fell to 4-8-1 (3-4) on the season.

The Lady Barons dominated the stat sheet on the day, but were unable to convert their success on the field into points. The Lady Barons outshot La Roche and had more time of possession, but were simply unable to put the ball in the net.

"Tonight's loss was a frustrating one for us," Lady Barons coach Johann Marin remarked in a post-game interview. "We had control of the game, and had several scoring opportunities, but we could not convert. La Roche had two beautiful shots to score in the game, and we were unable to score ourselves. We faced a tough opponent today, and we look to improve in our next match."

The Lady Barons host Carlow University this Thursday at 4 p.m.
