BEHREND, PA - The Lady Barons soccer team of Franciscan University of Steubenville traveled to Penn State-Behrend on Saturday afternoon, losing 2-0. With the loss, the Lady Barons fell to 5-8-1 (3-4) on the season.

While the Lady Barons were unable to score in the contest, they had excellent ball movement against one of the top teams in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference. "We played a hard game today," Lady Barons defender Christyn Dupre remarked in a post-game interview. "Penn State-Behrend is a tough team, but we hung with them today. We passed very well, we drove it down the field, and we found our open teammates; however, we just couldn't finish. We had some great opportunities, but were just unable to score today."

The Lady Barons' next contest is at home against Pitt-Greensburg this Wednesday at 1 p.m.
