STEUBENVILLE, OH - The Lady Barons soccer team of Franciscan University of Steubenville hosted Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Pitt-Greensburg on Wednesday afternoon, winning 2-1. With the victory, the Lady Barons improved to 6-9-1 (4-5) on the season.

Kristin Busha led the Lady Barons with 3 shots (2 on goal) and a goal. Lauren Miller had 2 shots including a goal, while Marian Weber had 3 shots (1 on goal).

Colleen Jumba led Pitt-Greensburg with 3 shots and the team's sole goal of the game. "It was a solid effort today," Lady Barons coach Johann Marin remarked post-game. "All of my seniors got a lot of playing time, which was good. Everyone showed up to play today...there wasn't a single girl on the team who had a bad game."

The Lady Barons have their final game of the season at home against Frostburg next Wednesday at 3 p.m.
