CRESSON, PA - The Lady Barons of Franciscan University of Steubenville traveled to Mount Aloysius College on Tuesday night, emerging victorious, 6-0.  With the win, the Lady Barons improved to 3-5 (2-1) on the season.

The Lady Barons demonstrated an offensive firepower which they have struggled to maintain this season.  This, coupled with their characteristically tight defense, was far too much for Mount Aloysius.

Kelly O'Brien led the Lady Barons with 2 goals on the night.  Tana Vyvlecka, Clare Grchan, Mary Rose Feeley, and Jacki Hook each had one goal on the night.

Lady Barons coach Johann Marin was extremely pleased with his team's performance.  "It was cold and wet tonight, but we stood up to the elements and fought hard for the win.  We're finally getting into our groove with scoring goals.  Clare Grchan had an amazing game all around.  Kelly O'Brien had a great game, and had two goals for us.  The entire bench played tonight - we were able to rotate every player into the game.  Our team really seems to be coming together."

The Lady Barons' next contest is at home tomorrow afternoon against Washington and Jefferson College at 4 p.m.
