Lady Barons Dominate
PITTSBURGH, PA - The Lady Barons volleyball team of Franciscan
University of Steubenville traveled to La Roche for an away match
on Wednesday night, emerging victorious in three games, 25-21,
25-15, 25-20. With the win, the Lady Barons improved to 4-8
(1-2) on the season.
Meg Kay, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference's current

on the night. Libero Nicole Henson continued her solid play
with 12 digs in the match.
Lady Barons coach Kelly Herrmann was pleased with her team's
performance in the match. "Everybody played very well
tonight. We did some different things. Ali Aeschliman
was back for the first time since her injury, and she played about
half the match. Anna Cain also played very well
tonight. We came out stronger than we have recently.
You always want to play up to the level of your opponents, and we
were able to do that tonight."
The Lady Barons look to get back-to-back wins as they host
D'Youville on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
