BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Lady Baron Soccer team walked away with a 3-1 loss Saturday night after facing the D'Youville College Lady Spartans, leaving with a 5-10-1 overall season standing. Anna Laudiero scored the only goal for the Lady Barons with an assist by Marian Weber.

The Lady Barons, though coming away with a loss, saved an impressive seven shots on goal by goalkeeper Lauren Koath.

D'Youville made the majority of its scoring in the first half, scoring two of its three goals on the night. The Lady Spartans tallied their final goal in the second, but Franciscan stopped a possible shutout with Laudiero's goal 15 minutes into the half.

The Lady Barons will play their final match of the season on Tuesday, October 26, at the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
