BUFFALO, N.Y. – Franciscan University's Barons clinched a 4-2 win against the D'Youville College Spartans Saturday evening, bringing their Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference standings up to 3-4-1.

The Baron offense struck quickly on the field, with Thomas Allen, Joseph Krilich, and Christian Bobak all scoring for Franciscan within the first half hour of the match. Scoring unassisted with less than 10 minutes left in the match, Steven Duran took the game for Franciscan.

D'Youville replied to the Barons offense with two goals only about six minutes apart, but Franciscan's defense held the Spartans to keep the lead during the entire match.

The Barons will continue on to their final match of the season on Tuesday, October 26, against the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m
