Box Score HAMBURG, N.Y.— Franciscan University of Steubenville's Baron basketball team struggled to find momentum both offensively and defensively Saturday afternoon, losing 89-32 on the road versus the Hilbert College Hawks.
"We really struggled in finding the basket today," said head coach John Lamanna. "We are just going to continue pushing forward in practice and getting better."
Freshman Nolan Albrecht held the team highs on the day, scoring 15 points and seven rebounds.
The Barons tallied only 22 rebounds compared to Hilbert's 42. The Hawks scored 29 points off of turnovers while the Barons fell behind with eight.
Franciscan's record is now 0-20 overall and 0-14 within the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.
The Barons hope to earn their first win this season when they travel to Penn State Altoona on Wednesday, Feb. 8. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
