No. 3 doubles players, Lucia Neugebauer and Kelly Chambers, played a consistent and clean match—taking their opponents 8-0.
"No. 3 doubles played the cleanest out of all the doubles," Lynch said. "They held their points and played a consistent ball."
Lynch said she was proud of the team for staying strong and focused, minimizing the extra difficulties that could have come about due to the unexpected challenges of the match.
"Overall it could have been more difficult because of the mental challenges going in, but they stayed strong," Lynch said.
