OBERLIN – The Franciscan women's cross country team took 21st place at the Inter-Regional Rumble, hosted by Oberlin College on Saturday.
Leading the way for the Lady Barons was freshman Bernadette Williams. Williams took 47th overall with a time of 23:07.7. Classmate Grace Galligan was not far behind as she took 92nd overall with a time of 23:49.6.
Angela Penza captured 151st overall and scored 125 points for the Lady Barons with a time of 24:50.8. Jennifer Sullivan (26:53.4), Kara Shaughnessy (27:19.8) and Lauren Schubilske (27:40.0) rounded out the top runner for the Lady Barons.
After a week off, the Lady Barons return to the course as they compete in the 2016 AMCC championship meet on October 30.
