CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Freshman Grace Galligan led the Franciscan women's cross country team as the Lady Barons claimed 26th out of 51 teams, Saturday afternoon.
Galligan took 40th overall at the Mideast Regional as she finished the 6K race with a time of 23:10. Galligan's time was just three seconds off of the top time for the AMCC.
Freshman Bernadette Williams claimed 108th and was the second Lady Baron to cross the finish line. Sophomores Rose McGrath and Angela Penza took 208th and 226th over all with times of 25:55 and 26:19 for the Lady Barons. Classmate Lauren Schubliske took 236th overall and was the fifth Lady Baron to cross the finish line at 26:27.
Freshman Suzie Krass and junior Jennifer Sullivan claimed the final two scoring spots for the Lady Barons as the crossed the line at 28:11 each for the 280th and 281st place.
