BETHANY, W.Va. - Freshman Bernadette Williams paced the Lady Barons at the Bethany Invitational, Saturday morning.
Williams was the firs FUS runner to cross the finish line with a time of 27:04 and was the top AMCC runner of the meet. Sophomore Rose McGrath followed Williams as she crossed the line at 27:37 in 46th place.
Sophomore Lauren Schubliske and fresham Grace Galligan finsihed neck and neck with each other in 62nd and 63rd place with times of 29:21 and 29:22, respectively.
Sophomore Angela Penza was the next Lady Baron to cross the finish line as she picked up a 66th place finish at 29:55. Freshman Kara Shaughnessy captured 68th place (30:27) while junior Alison Krall took 69th at 30:31.
The Lady Barons return to action next Friday at Notre Dame at 4pm.
