Barons Win at Franciscan Invite

STEUBENVILLE – The Franciscan men's cross country team captured the top team spot with all seven runners finishing in the top 15 at the 2016 Franciscan Invitational, Saturday morning.

Sophomore Nick Long was the top Baron runner with a time of 32:31.14 in the 8K race to cross the line fourth overall. Freshman Matthew Crotteau was right on Long's heels and took fifth with a time of 32:32.51.

Patrick Tansill (32:35.17), Grady Stuckman (32:42.26), and Tim Jackson (33:27.92) took sixth, seventh and eighth for the Barons.

Emmett Delaney took 10th overall with a time of 34:32.69 and Jack Scott rounded out the scoring runners with a time of 34:52.34 to take seventh.

The Barons return to the course next Friday when they compete in the All-Ohio Invite.
