Box Score DANBURY, Conn. – Junior Leo Herrmann was named the ECAC South Offensive Player of the Week, Tuesday, adding to his AMCC Player of the Week nod.
Herrmann pushed his season goal total to 12 with three this week and added an assist to push his career point total to 100 points. Herrmann is the fastest Baron to reach this milestone and currently sits atop the national goal leaders and is fifth in the country in points this year (25).
This week, two of Herrmann's goals came against Waynesburg in the Barons' 2-1 double overtime win. Herrmann scored the game-winner just 27 seconds into the second overtime period. Herrmann scored once and added an assist in Franciscan's 2-0 win over Hilbert to open AMCC action.
Herrmann and the Barons return to the pitch tonight when they travel to Pitt.-Greensburg for an 8:30pm game.
