Box Score EBENSBURG, Pa. – The Franciscan women's tennis team Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference regular season win streak as hit 25 as the Lady Barons rolled past Mt. Aloysius, 9-0, Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Barons swept through doubles once again and secured the first three points of the match. Senior Julia Razook and freshman Antonio Mysyk rolled to an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles. Senior Maria Binette and junior Madelyn Conrad won 8-5 at No. 1 and junior Grace Hammel and sophomore Anna Victoria Maria Haddad worked a quick 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles.
Freshman Zoey Stapleton continues to play well at the No. 6 singles spot as she won 6-1, 6-0. Conrad also worked a quick win at No. 1 singles as she defeated her opponent, 6-1, 6-3.
Binette picked up another win at No. 2 singles with a 6-4, 6-2 victory while Haddad worked a 6-1, 7-5 win at No. 3 singles. Razook won at No. 4 6-3, 6-3, and Hammel won at No. 5 6-4, 6-3 to help secure the Lady Barons AMCC win.
Franciscan returns to action today with an AMCC showdown with Pitt.-Bradford at 1:00 pm.
