How it Happened

• The Lady Barons swept doubles play today to give them an early 3-0 lead. Senoir combo of Madelyn Conrad and Grace Hammel secured an 8-1 win in #1 doubles. Ana Victoria Haddad and Zoey Stapleton recorded a dominant 8-0 sweep in #2 doubles. The Freshman duo of Estelle Leon and Haley Davinsizer kept up the dominant doubles play as they won 8-1 in #3 doubles
• Franciscan entered singles play only needing two points to move onto the Championship. Junior Ana Victoria Haddad cruised to a win in #2 doubles (6-0, 6-1). While Senoir Grace Hammel swept 6-0 6-0 in #4 singles to give the Lady Barons five points and a seat in the Championship tomorrow. 
• Madelyn Conrad (#1 singles), Estelle Leon (#3 singles), Zoey Stapleton (#5 singles) and Caroline Picard (#6 singles) each had won their first sets, and they were leading in set two, when the Lady Barons had already achieved five points to move onto their 4th straight Championship appearance.
