All-Time Series Against Hilbert
- Franciscan holds the edge all-time against Hilbert 12-10, but Hilbert has won the last six matchups.Â
- Franciscan gave Hilbert two tough games last season. In their first meeting (1/5/19) the Lady Barons fell 45-47. Thr Lady Barons entered the 4th quarter up by seven, but fell to a very strong Hilbert run. Angela Starre led all scorers with 18 points.
- When they met again (2/9/19) at home the Lady Barons went down 69-54. Ashley Repine and Emily Gawlak each scored 20+ points for the Hawks, 28 and 22 respectively. Raegan Stead scored a team high 15 points for Franciscan.
- Franciscan's last win came on 1/30/16 at Hilbert 49-40. They held the Hawks to 28.6% from the field, as Iliana Gonzales and Bernadette Roach each scored 13 points to lead the Lady Barons.Â
Scouting Franciscan
- The Lady Barons are led by senior Abby Baierl's 14.4 ppg and 6.4 rpg. Freshman Estelle Leon is averaging nearly a double double with 8.8 ppg and 9.8 rpg.Â
- The Lady Barons are in the top 50 in the nation in three point shooting % defense, by holding opponents to 22.8%
Scouting Mount Hilbert
- The Hawks are led by the senior duo of Taylor Corts and Emily Gawlak. They each reach the 1,000 point milestone this year, in the same game. Corts is averaging, an AMCC leading, 19.3 ppg, while Gawlak currently sits at 16.1 ppg, 5th most in the AMCC.
- 2018-19 First Team All-AMCC member Ashley Repine is on the roster, but still has not appeared in a game this season.
