How it Happened

• The opening quarter was the most back and forth close quarter of this game as we would be tied up at 9-9 with 4:23 left to play. Estelle Leon would add two buckets down the stretch to send the Lady Barons to the second quarter down two.
• Neither team would score for nearly 4 minutes to start the second quarter, until Behrend opened up the action with a made layup by Ashley Seaman. Kaitlyn Sonneberger would add a pair of buckets to cut the defect to two. A Lady Lion 14-6 run over the final four minutes would give them a 10 point lead at the break.
• Rose Judge started off the third quarter with a made layup to cut the lead to single digits. The Lady Lions would stretch the lead back to 12 points, before a Franciscan 8-0 run would put the Lady Barons right back into it. Leon, Sonneberger and Angela Starre added buckets to end the quarter down three points.
• The Lady Barons would keep it close for the first five minutes of the final quarter. as they would stand at down four points with 4:47 remaining in the game. Behrend would take charge as they would go on a 12-2 run to earn their fifth AMCC victory.

• Estelle Leon led Franciscan in points and rebounds as she scored 15 points and 11 rebounds, for her third double double of the season.
• The Lady Barons had a cold day from behind the arc, as they shot it at 18.2%
• Franciscan won the rebounding battle at 39-34, but lost the turnover battle 26-19
