How it Happened

• Angela Starre would open up the scoring by making a three pointer. It would turn into a back and forth game in the early going, as it would be 7-7 halfway through the quarter. The Lady Barons would then go on a 6-0 run thanks to Starre and Estelle Leon. Finnley would make a jumper in the final minute to give Franciscan a four point lead at the end of the quarter. 
• This was a quarter of runs by each team. The Lady Barons would start on an 8-3 run that ended with a Selena Coronis bucket to take  anine point edge. Starre would make another three, and Rose Judge made a pair of free throws to stretch the lead to a high of twelve points. Altoona would go off on a 17-1 run to retake the lead. Cianna Vaughan would finally add a jumper with under thirty seconds to play. Franciscan would be trailing by two at the break.
• Baierl and Kelsey Scott-Avery made back to back threes to give the Lady Barons an early second half lead. Baeirl made another to stretch the Franciscan lead to five points. Leon would make a layup with 2:06 to play giving the Lady Barons a one point lead. Altoona would go 4-4 from the field in the final minutes, as an 8-0 run gave them a seven point lead going into the final quarter.
• Baierl made a three to start the quarter, and the lead had shrunk to four points. Altoona would responded once again, as they would go on a 7-0 run to end any possible threat from Franciscan. Starre would go on a possible 4-0 run to cut the lead to six points with 3:57 to play, but the Lady Barons could never get closer then that, as they lost 63-71
