STEUBENVILLE, OH -Â The Lady Barons are on quite the roll, as they have won three straight games for the first time since the 2015-16 season. The Mounties are the opposite, as they have lost three straight heading into this crucial AMCC contest.

All-Time Series Against Mount Aloysius
- The Lady Barons are 2-22 all-time against the Mounties, with one win this season already.
- The Lady Barons recorded a huge win in their 69-37 win in Cresson this season. The Franciscan defense held the Mounties to 20.4% shooting on the day, as Hannah Kitko scored a team high 11 points. The Lady Barons had four scorers in double figures - Abby Baierl (22), Kelsey Scott-Avery (14), Clare McGahan (12) and Estelle Leon (10). Leon added 10 rebounds to notch a double double as well. Baierl and Scott-Avery each made four threes on the night.Â
- Prior to that meeting, the Mounties had won 15 straight. Last time they traveled to Steubenville, the Lady Barons were on the wrong side of 47-79 game. The Mounties shot 53.2% from the field, and they had four scorers in double figures led by Breana Kendrick's 22 points.Â
Scouting Franciscan
- Abby Baierl has been a huge impact player on this three game run. She is averaging 18.7 ppg while making seven three pointers. She is now 8th in the AMCC at 14.0 ppg.
- Estelle Leon has also been a big contributor to the recent success, as she has averaged 16.3 ppg and 12.7 rpg in the last three wins.
- Franciscan's defense has been strong all year, as their field goal percentage defense of 35.3 % is second in the AMCC, as well as their points allowed at 58.9 ppg.
Scouting Mount Aloysius
- The Mounties have a new player that the Lady Barons did not see last time. Carly Stigers is leading the team in scoring average at 9.2 ppg, including two 20+ point games in her last three games.
- The triple threat of Rachel Robinson (8.6 ppg), Lea Sammarco (8.4 ppg) and Ryanna Hockenos (7.8 ppg) have led the Mounties offense moat of this season, with anyone being able to lead the team on a given night.
- The Mounties are last in the AMCC in rebounding at 28.3 rpg, assists at 9.4 apg and scoring 50.9 ppg.
