Singles
First off the court in singles play was
Laina Anderson. The freshman had a commanding 6-0, 6-1 win in #6 singles. Fellow freshman,
Olivia Colby was next to finish, as she won #2 singles in straight sets. With Franciscan needing one more point to win the semifinal,
Maria Herrera pulled through with a straight sets win in #1 singles. That would give Franciscan a 5-1, as all other action ended with the other three matches being unfinished.Â
