Race Highlights
Franciscan Men's Cross Country won their second PAC Championship in back to back fashion on Saturday morning. The Barons have now won four straight conference championships with AMCC titles in 2018 and 2019.Â
Liam Galligan led they way once again by winning the 8K race in a time of 26:26.77 on the cold wet morning. Next to finish in second place was
Miguel Daez. He was a little over 40 seconds behind Galligan with a time of 27:07.70. The Barons kept up their strong finishes with
Mark Borek in 3rd with a time of 27:19.56. Not too far behind him was another teammate,
George Kaftan, as the Barons would have the first four runners to finish.Â
Saint Vincent sophomore, Tim Patterson, broke up the Franciscan run with a 5th place finish, but then another Franciscan runner,
Danny Donovan came through in 6th. That clinched the title for Franciscan with a PAC record 16 points, only one point shy of the best finish mathematically possible. The rest of the Franciscan lineup finished strong as well.
Conal Delaney placed 8th, and he was the best finishing freshman in the field.
David Di Nardo came in 24th in the 99 man field.Â
