Short Story: Galligan runs to a first place finish in first PAC Cross Country meet, as Barons finish in second as a team

Race Highlights

Liam Galligan brought home the 1st place finish as he led the field of 69 runners with a time 15:58.12. The Barons had three other runners place in the top ten as well. Mark Borek finished in 4th with a time of 16:33.81. Miguel Daez placed 7th with a time of 16:47.09. Freshman George Kaftan had a very strong finish as he placed 9th in his first ever meet. Saint Vincent would also have four runners finish in the top ten, as they would take home the team title with only 30 points.

Up Next
Franciscan will have a week off before they head to Bethany on Saturday March 6th. This will be a good litmus test for the eventual PAC Championship because it will be ran at the same course two weeks later.
