Alison Bryant wins her first PAC Cross Country Championship Individual Title, as the Lady Barons finish in second in their first ever PAC Championship.
Race Highlights
Franciscan competed in their first PAC Cross Country Championship, as the Lady Barons earned a second place finish. This race along with all other races this season were only five kilometers, instead of the usual six kilometers. Â
Alison Bryant would take home the individual crown, as she ran a time of 18:29, 50 seconds faster then the second place finisher.
Shannon Wieszczek would be the next Lady Baron to finish, as she placed 11th with a time of 20:33.
Elizabeth Atkins would place in the Top 20, as she ran a time of 20:59. Junior
Sydni Cain finished next in 26th place with a time of 21:22.
Ashlin LaFond would place 29th with a time of 21:35.Â
That would add up to 87 points for the Lady Barons, which would give them second place. Waynesburg would have four runners finish in the top 10 to secure the team title with only 40 points. It would be the Yellow Jackets fifth straight title in Women's Cross Country.Â
