Grove City 9, Franciscan 0

Steubenville, Ohio - The Franciscan University Men's Tennis team fell 9-0 to Grove City in their Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match up. 

Doubles
The Barons could not find their rhythm in doubles with the Barons top doubles team of Gary Pierre and Billy Presume falling 8-0. Luke Conrad and Joe Mulligan also fell 8-0 in the #2 doubles match up. The most competitive doubles match was the #3 doubles match up with the team of Aidan Howard and Joseph Suess falling 8-4. 

Singles
The Barons did not fair much better in their singles match ups with #1 singles player Gary Pierre losing 6-3, 6-3. Luke Conrad lost his #2 singles match 6-0, 6-2 and Billy Presume dropped the #3 singles match 6-2, 6-0. The most competitve singles match was the #5 singles matchup where Chrisitan Capello won the opening set 6-3, before falling in sets two and three by scores of 6-3 and 10-5. Aidan Howard and Aidan Palladino also fell in straight sets in each of their singles matchups. 

Who's Next? 
Franciscan will keep up the busiest six days in tennis history, as they face Waynesburg on Sunday at 2 pm. This will be the Barons first match against Waynesburg in men's tennis history.
