How It Happened
    The Lady Barons finish up their regular season with a win against Bethany College. Tonight's win adds to the Franciscan win streak, bringing it to nine in a row. Franciscan started with a win in the very first event, the 200yd medley. The team of Hana Regenauer, Olivia Mete, Kristen Farabaugh, and Bridget Bartosik finished with a time of 2:10.62. Celia Van Den Wymelenberg took first in the 1650 yd freestyle with a time of 20:55.47. Swimmers Sarah Kelty and Melia Domingo took 1st and 2nd respectively in the 100yd backstroke. Kelty swam an event winning time of 1:15.50. Franciscan women swept the 100yd breaststroke with swimmer's Anne Konstanty, Kristen Farabaugh, and Bridget Bartosik. Konstanty's winning time was 1:20.58. Olivia Mete took first in the 50yd freestyle with a time of 28.91. Tonight the Lady Barons had a diver. Charley Truitt won the 1m diving event with a score of 153.70. Hana Regenauer had another 1st place finish, this time in the individual event the 200yd backstroke. Her winning time was 2:45.59. Kristen Farabaugh won the 200yd breaststroke with a time of 2:53.46. Olivia Mete finished 1st in the 500yd freestyle. Her time was 6:06.70. Grace Shoemaker was the lone swimmer in the 100yd butterfly. She posted a time of 1:18.83. Then freshmen Bridget Bartosik had another great race, finishing 1st in the 200yd IM. Her winning time was 2:30.61. Franciscan women took 1st and 2nd in the 200yd freestyle relay. The winning team of; Maite Talavera, Hana Regenauer, Anne Konstanty, and Celia Van Den Wymelenberg finished with a time of 2:02.51.

This concludes the regular season for the Lady Barons, as they set their sights on the PAC Championship. The PAC Championships will be held Thursday Feb. 10 thru Saturday Feb. 12 in Grove City, Pa.
