Rachel Hurley ran a good race to land in 94th, as fellow sophomore Jessica Campbell was a little bit behind her in 132nd. Allison Sommer and Angelina Toole rounded out the top five to give Franciscan 554 points.

John Carroll would win the event with only 70 points, as their top five runners were all within the first 21 to cross the finish line. Saint Vincent had the best finish of the PAC schools competing with an 11th place finish. Geneva placed 12th, Washington & Jefferson 17th, and Chatham placed 24th. Up Next
Franciscan will now have a couple weeks to prepare for the PAC Championships. Saint Vincent will host the event this year in Latrobe on October 29th at 11:00 a.m. The Barons have not won a conference championship since 2018, but they have had the top runner in each of the last two PAC Championships. Last season the Barons placed second, but the PAC Coaches' expected the Barons to slip to fifth this season from the preseason coaches' poll. It should be a great race to follow with the PAC being as deep of a conference as ever with the addition of Allegheny to the fold.
