  The Barons lineup was
Maria Herrera /
Olivia Colby at #1,
Haley Davinsizer /
Zoey Stapleton at #2, and
Caroline Picard /
Laina Anderson as the #3's. Davinsizer and Stapleton had a tough time against their pairing and lost 8-2. The #3's scored the first point for the Barons winning handily. Herrera and Colby had a close match, but Wittenberg's Isaac and Virk eaked out the last couple points and won 8-5. Going into singles play the Barons were losing 1-2.
Singles

Zoey Stapleton was the #3 hitter and had a tough loss to Wittenberg's Myers.
Maria Herrera had a wild up and down match at the #1 hitter. Herrera won 0 games set 1, then turned around and won set 2 forcing a third tiebreak set. The tiebreak finished similar to the first set, and the Barons were one point away from losing.
Olivia Colby fought hard in the #2 spot. She barely lost the first set, then tied set 2 6-6. Colby lost the tiebreak and losing the match. This gave Wittenberg 5 team points clinching the victory.
Haley Davinsizer was the only Baron to win her singles match at the #6 spot. Both
Caroline Picard (#4) and
Laina Anderson (#5) went into a third tiebreak set in their matches. Neither were able to pick up the victory, and the Barons lost 7-2.
Who's Next?Â
The Lady Barons will now have a couple weeks off before the ramp up for the NCAA Tournament with a handful of matches beforehand. Their next matchup will be. a non-conference matchup against PAC foe Westminster on April 22nd in Steubenville. The Lady Barons are 2-10 all-time against the Titans, but they beat them last fall in dominant fashion by a score of 8-1.
Maria Herrera had a very dominant day, by winning in #1 singles 6-0, 6-2 and pairing up with
Olivia Colby for an 8-2 win in #1 doubles.
