How It Happened
The Barons were missing a few key players for game 1. In their absence they struggled to put the ball in play. Emma Clow and Alyssa Whitmore recorded the only two hits for the Barons. On the defensive side errors plagued the Barons and put them in situations in the 3rd and 4th where they couldn't get out of the inning. Emma Clow was a shining bright spot. Clow was involved in almost every infield play totaling seven put outs.

-Clow was 1 for 1 with 1 walk

How It Happened
Game 2 had a totally different feel than game 1. The Wolverines put a couple runners on base, but the Barons stayed disciplined and made routine ground out plays to close the inning out leaving two on base. In the bottom of the 1st, McDaniels and Arnone hit back-to-back doubles. Whitmore put her bat on the ball and was thrown out at first, but not before McDaniels scored. After a solid defense inning and big hits the Barons found themselves in an exciting position...winning. The Wolverines scored a few more runs over the next three innings to take a 4-2 lead going into the top of the 5th. The last two innings spelled trouble for the Barons. Four errors allowed runners to score and the defense found themselves in situations where they couldn't get out of the inning. The three runs the Wolverines scored in the 6th inning gave them an 8 run lead, and after no runs from the Barons the game finished after 6 innings.

At the Plate
-Arnone was 2 for 3 with 1 RBI
-Clow was 1 for 2 with 1 run
-McDaniels was 1 for 3 with 1 run
-Benson was 1 for 3 with 1 run

In the Circle
-Starter Kimberly McDaniels pitched 6 innings allowed 20 hits, 10 ER, and taliled 2 strikeouts
