How It Happened 
Franciscan hosted Washington & Jefferson on Wednesday evening, as the Barons went toe-to-toe with the top-ranked Presidents.

After a slow start in the opening quarter, the Barons would battle back in the second quarter. The Barons would cut it to a five-point game, as they scored 16 points in the first five minutes of the second quarter. The Presidents would respond with a 12-4 run to end the half with a score of 37-24. Giuliana Biasutto would lead all scorers with 10 points in the first half.

The Presidents would come out hot to start the third quarter, as the Barons would not be able to cut into the deficit. There would be just six fouls combined through three quarters, as it would be a fast clean game. In the fourth, there would be 11 fouls as the action would slow down. The Barons would continue to battle, as they would win the final 10 minutes by a score of 14-13.

Inside the Numbers 
- McCallen led the Barons with 15 points. 
- Biasutto had 14 points on 6-10 shooting.
- Mikayla Doan led Franciscan with eight rebounds in 15 minutes of play.
- Emma Clow had four assists. 

Up Next 
Franciscan will have this weekend off, as they do not return to action until next Wednesday at Westminster. These two teams played each other in December with the Titans winning by a score of 67-42. Madison Doan had a double double for the Barons with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
