- Franciscan suffered their first setback of conference play on Wednesday night to Washington & Jefferson

- Ilena Gonzales led all scorers with 13 points on 6-12 shooting from the floor.
 
Scouting the Wolverines
- Grove City is 2-2 on the season and 1-0 in PAC play after defeating Waynesburg 71-60 on Wednesday evening.

- It has been a very balanced offensive attack for the Wolverines all season. Clara Hannon, Reese Hasley, and Meredith Sherrerd are all averaging around nine points a game thus far. 
 
Melnyk Making Moves
- Jazzlyn Melnyk jumped into 11th place in all-time scoring after the Carlow game. She now has scored 522 points, Angela Starre '22 is 10th (554), as Melnyk looks to climb the ranks this season. Lacey Huck '15 is the all-time leading scorer with 1,344 points over four seasons in Steubenville.

- She sits in eighth with 308 rebounds on the Franciscan all-time list. Monica Dawyot '16 is one spot above her with 400 rebounds, and Lacey Huck '15 holds the all-time record with 853.

-Melnyk is tied fourth with Gaby DeJesus in all-time assists with 157. Abby Baierl '19 sits in third with 191 over her time in Steubenville. Monica Dawyot '16 holds the all-time record with 206. 

- She is also in the Top 10 in steals in a career. She sits in sixth with 118 and is closing in on Head Coach, Iliana Spoelman '16 (133) to move into fifth. Marian Weber '11 holds the all-time record with 161.
 
First-Year Impact
- Abbigail Jannuzi, Gemma Biasutto, and Moira Hughes have all seen significant minutes in their first collegiate seasons.

- Jannuzi had a breakout game at Carlow with a season-high 15 points with three made three-point field goals in her return to her home state. She is averaging 6.3 ppg through her first four collegiate games.

Gonzales Keeps Climbing
- Ilena Gonzales scored 13 points against Washington & Jefferson to climb up to 16th all-time in scoring with 429 points. Helen Raines is in 15th with 438 points.

- With 83 assists, she sits tied for 15th most in program history. Cara Mitchell sits in 14th with 87 assists, as Gonzales looks to climb the ranks in her final collegiate season.
