The Latest
- Franciscan scored 82 points on Saturday and lost, the most points the Barons have every scored in a loss in program history. Grove City's offense was electric, as they put up 116 points.

- Maria McCallen led the charge for the Barons with 32 points and three other Barons scored in double figures, Ilena Gonzales (14), Caroline Reedy (11), and Abbigail Jannuzi (10).
 
Scouting the Bearcats
- Saint Vincent is 1-4 thus far this season, and they are coming off of an 84-42 win over Thiel after starting the season on a four-game losing skid.

- The Bearcats have used the same starting five in each game this season. Two of those starters are averaging double-digit scoring, Makenna Maier (10.4 ppg) and Camdon Basher (10.0 ppg)

- The Bearcats have won seven straight games against the Barons dating back to 2020-21 season.
 
McCallen's Masterpiece
- At Grove City, Maria McCallen was one point shy of the program record for most points in a game with 32. Her 14 made field goals are the most by a Baron in a game in program history. She also pulled down a season-high 11 rebounds for her first double double of the season

- 32 points is tied for the most scored by a PAC player this season. Kalista Friday of Waynesburg scored 32 points against Carlow on November 15th.

- McCallen also had just one foul after foul trouble was a problem for her earlier in the season. 

Gonzales Getting Buckets
- Ilena Gonzales had scored double-digit points in four of five games this season, as she is the only Baron that has done that through the first five games.

- With 14 points at Grove City she jumped into 15th all-time in scoring with 443 points. Felicia MacGillivray sits in 14th with 494 points over her two seasons with the Barons.

- She is tied for 14th with Cara Mitchell at 87 assists. Kaitlyn Sonneberger '20 is in 13th place with 88 assists, as Gonzales looks to pass her with two more assists.
 
Melnyk Making Moves
- Jazzlyn Melnyk jumped into 11th place in all-time scoring after the Carlow game. She now has scored 529 points, Angela Starre '22 is 10th (554), as Melnyk looks to climb the ranks this season. Lacey Huck '15 is the all-time leading scorer with 1,344 points over four seasons in Steubenville.

- She sits in eighth with 315 rebounds on the Franciscan all-time list. Monica Dawyot '16 is one spot above her with 400 rebounds, and Lacey Huck '15 holds the all-time record with 853.

-Melnyk is tied fourth with Gaby DeJesus in all-time assists with 160. Abby Baierl '19 sits in third with 191 over her time in Steubenville. Monica Dawyot '16 holds the all-time record with 206. 

- She is also in the Top 10 in steals in a career. She sits in sixth with 119 and is closing in on Head Coach, Iliana Spoelman '16 (133) to move into fifth. Marian Weber '11 holds the all-time record with 161.
