The Latest
- Franciscan put on a show for the home faithful last Saturday with a 77-59 win over Thiel. Four Barons scored in double-figures with Maria McCallen leading the way with 20 points.

- Jazzlyn Melnyk had a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds, and Ilena Gonzales recorded one as well with 14 points and 10 rebounds. 

- As a team, the Barons recorded season highs in rebounds (50), assists (18), made free throws (16), and a season-low 16 turnovers.
 
Scouting the Gators
- Allegheny is 4-4 on the season, but they come in riding a four-game winning streak, as they have been dominant in PAC play.

- Three of their starters are averaging double-digit points per game so far this season. Sarah Santicola is averaging a double-double at 14.4 ppg and 12.1 rpg. Santicola vs. McCallen will be a great matchup to watch all game.

- Emily Lauer is averaging 14.1 ppg while shooting 45% from beyond the arc, and Bella Atonacci is third on the team at 13.8 ppg with 5.6 assists per game, 11th best in all of NCAA Division III. 
 
McCallen Has Been Money
- Through five conference games this season, Maria McCallen is averaging 20.6 ppg, second best in the PAC.

- She has scored double-digit points in six of their eight games this season, including a season-high 32 points at Grove City.

- On the season, she is shooting 50% from the floor, the best on the team and third-best in the PAC.

Newcomer Heating Up
- Abbigail Jannuzi recorded a career-high 19 points on Saturday in the win over Thiel. She made a trio of three-point field goals and shot 6-8 from the free throw line.

- She has now scored double-digit points in three conference games this season and four in total. She leads the Barons with 12 made three-point field goals. 
 
Melnyk Tracker
- With 15 points against Thiel, Jazzlyn Melnyk passed Angela Starre '22 and Kaitlyn Sonneberger '20 to now have 565 points and crack the Top 10 in program history. She sits in ninth with Hana Flanagan '14 in 8th at 576 career points. Lacey Huck '15 is the all-time leading scorer with 1,344 points over four seasons in Steubenville.

-Melnyk is fourth all-time assists with 170. Abby Baierl '19 sits in third with 191 over her time in Steubenville. Monica Dawyot '16 holds the all-time record with 206. 

- She is also in the Top 10 in steals in a career. She sits in sixth with 124 and is closing in on Head Coach, Iliana Spoelman '16 (133) to move into fifth. Marian Weber '11 holds the all-time record with 161.

- She sits in eighth with 351 rebounds on the Franciscan all-time list. Monica Dawyot '16 is one spot above her with 400 rebounds, and Lacey Huck '15 holds the all-time record with 853.

Gonzales Tracker
- She is 15th all-time in scoring with 472 points. Felicia MacGillivray sits in 14th with 494 points over her two seasons with the Barons.

- With five assists against Thiel, Ilena Gonzales passed Kaitlyn Sonneberger with 94 assists to have the 13th most in program history. Hannah Flanagan sits in 12th with 95 assists over her three seasons of play.
