The Latest
- Franciscan concluded their non-conference slate for the 2024-25 season on January 2nd when they battled Wittenberg at Home. The Tigers, who had been receiving votes in the National Top 25, pulled away late to beat the Barons 82-65.

- Maria McCallen led the way with 17 points on 8-11 shooting, and Jazzlyn Melnyk and Caroline Reedy scored 12 points.
 
Scouting the Yellow Jackets
- Waynesburg enters the game with a .500 record, including a 5-0 mark in non-conference games this season. Their lone conference win came over Westminster by a score of 53-44.

- Kalista Friday leads the way offensively at 13.7 ppg. She has also scored 20+ points three times this season with a season-high 32 points against Carlow.

- The Barons last beat the Yellow Jackets on February 15, 2023 by a score of 64-52. Melnyk led the Barons with 16 points, and Kylie Panizza scored 14 points off the bench. Franciscan is in search of their first win at Waynesburg in program history.
 
McCallen Leads the PAC
- Maria McCallen has scored double-digit points in all put two games this season, including in the last eight games. 

- The sophomore leads the PAC in ppg in conference games at 21.1 with 148 points in seven games so far.

Reedy Returns
- After missing a pair of games in December, Caroline Reedy has returned to form. She has scored double digit points in each of her last three games.

- At 11.0 ppg, she is the second leading scorer on the Barons this season.
 
Melnyk Making Moves
- Jazzlyn Melnyk is 8th in all-time scoring with 598 points. Cara Mitchell '10 sits in seventh with 653 points. Lacey Huck '15 is the all-time leading scorer with 1,344 points over four seasons in Steubenville.

-Melnyk is fourth all-time assists with 184. Abby Baierl '19 sits in third with 191 over her time in Steubenville. Monica Dawyot '16 holds the all-time record with 206. 

- She has climbed up to 4th all-time in rebounding with 478 rebounds so far. She is closing in on Abby Baierl '19, who is third with 496. Lacey Huck '15 holds the all-time record with 853.

- She is also in the Top 10 in steals in a career. She sits in sixth with 130 and is closing in on Head Coach, Iliana Spoelman '16 (133) to move into fifth. Marian Weber '11 holds the all-time record with 161.

Gonzales Tracker 
- Ilena Gonzales is now tied for 14th all-time in scoring with 494 points with Felicia MacGillivray. Marian Weber sits in 13th with 508 points, as Gonzales looks to continue her way up the ranks in her final collegiate season

- With 288 rebounds, she sits at 12th all-time in program history. Bernadette Roach '17 sits in 11th with 294 rebounds.
