Steubenville, Ohio - For the 14th season in a row, the Franciscan Women's Tennis team will advance to the conference semifinal, as they took down #6 Saint Vincent on Tuesday afternoon in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Quarterfinals.

Doubles
  At #3,
Maggie Gallagher and
Elizabeth Swift were dominant, as they finished first with a 6-0 score.
Jordan Beltavski and
Colette Park remained unbeaten in doubles while playing together at #2, as they won 6-2. Right after they finished,
Claire Cardie and
Kina Ehlers won 6-0 at #1. That gave the Barons a 1-0 edge, as they headed into singles play.
Singles
The bottom half of the lineup showed the talent and depth of the Barons on Tuesday afternoon.Â
Colette Park won at #4 by a score of 6-1, 6-1.Â
Sophia Pastura won by that same score at #5.
Lauren Schoenberger won in straight sets by blanking her opponent to give the Barons a 4-0 win and a berth in the PAC semifinal.
Next Up
  Franciscan will now travel to #2 Grove City for a PAC Semifinal match at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Earlier this season, the Barons lost on the same courts by a score of 6-1 at the hands of the Wolverines. Last season, in the PAC Semifinals, Franciscan upset Grove City by a score of 4-3. The Barons earned the doubles point, and then earned wins at #1, #2, and #3 singles. Four Barons,

Kina Ehlers, and
Jordan Beltavski made an impact in that win and return to Grove City again on Thursday.
