PAC Tournament Bracket | 2025-26 Statistics

The Latest
- Franciscan took down #6 Saint Vincent on Tuesday afternoon in the PAC Quarterfinal by a score of 4-0.
- They won #3 and #2 doubles to win the doubles point, and then swept #4, #5, and #6 singles to secure the Semifinal berth.
- #2 Grove City had a bye into the Semifinal, as they have not played since October 9th at Penn West Edinboro.
- This will be the Barons' 14th consecutive trip to the Conference Semifinal round. They have only played 16 seasons in their existence, and in the first two seasons, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) did not host a seeded tournament.

History Against the Wolverines
- Franciscan is 9-8 all-time against Grove City dating back to the 2015-16 season.
- The Barons are 3-3 in conference matches against them, but they hold a 4-1 edge in PAC postseason matches over the last five seasons. Hence, the Barons and Wolverines have met in each PAC Championship Tournament that Franciscan has appeared in since joining the conference in 2020.
- Last season, #6 Franciscan took down #2 Grove City by a score of 4-3. The Barons won #1 and #2 doubles to take a 1-0 lead. Then it was the top of the order, as Claire Cardie, Olivia Colby, and Kina Ehlers won each of their matches to secure a trip to the PAC Championship.

Top Franciscan Duo
- Claire Cardie and Kina Ehlers were named First Team All-PAC in doubles play last season, and it looks like they should achieve that feat again.
- The #1 pair secured an undefeated record through the PAC regular season.
- Cardie sits 7th all-time in program history with 38 doubles wins. Anna Hadaad is in sixth with 39 wins, as she looks to pass her this fall.

Talented Depth
- The Barons have displayed significant depth in their lineup all season long.
- They have secured 20 wins from the #4, #5, and #6 spots over their 11 matches this season, including the three wins in the PAC Quarterfinal.
- Colette Park, Sophia Pastura, and Lauren Schoenberger are slotted to appear in those spots on Thursday.

First-Years Flourishing
- Colette Park has provided a spark to the Barons in her first collegiate season.
- She enters this match with an 8-2 singles mark while playing in the four, five, and six spots. Park has also held a 4-0 mark in doubles and will play at the #2 spot in this match.
- Grove City has a pair of freshmen that have made a major impact this season. Grace Stitt and Grace Yurko have played all of the #1 and #2 singles matches for the Wolverines this season. They will be there once again in this match, and they split up amongst #1 and #2 doubles.

In Pursuit of Eight
- Women's Tennis has won seven conference championships so far in 15 NCAA Division III seasons.
- Five of their titles came in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC), and two came in the PAC, with the most recent being 2021.
- Men's Tennis is the only Franciscan program that has won more conference championships, as they have won eight.
