Barons Clinch Home Playoff Match with Win at Geneva

Beaver Falls, Pa. - Franciscan clinched the #3 seed in next week's PAC Championship Tournament with a win at Geneva on Tuesday afternoon. With the win, they improved to 8-2 on the season with a 6-2 PAC record.

Doubles
   The Barons were able to sweep doubles to take a 1-0 edge. Claire Cardie and Kina Ehlers secured their undefeated PAC regular season record with a 6-3 win at #1. Jordan Beltavski and Colette Park won by the same score at #2, and Maggie Gallagher and Sophia Pastura won by a score of 6-1 at #3.

Singles
   Kina Ehlers kept up a very impressive singles' season with a straight-sets win at #2. Jordan Beltavski fared the same at #3. Lauren Schoenberger and Colette Park were also able to win at #4 and #5 to secure victory for the Barons at Geneva. 

Next Up
    Franciscan will now have some time off to rest, recover, and prepare for the PAC Championship Tournament. They will be rewarded with a home match in the quarterfinal on Tuesday afternoon. The opponent and time of that match will be announced officially at a later date, as some teams have not completed their regular season matches.
