The Latest
- Franciscan dropped a PAC tilt to Chatham on the road on Wednesday, as they look to rebound against another, tough conference foe in Allegheny.

- Jazzlyn Melnyk, Maria McCallen, Ilena Gonzales, and Abbigail Januzi each scored six points to lead the Barons against the Cougars. 
 
Scouting the Gators
- The Gators sit in third in the PAC standings with five games remaining on their 2024-25 regular season schedule. A win would clinch a playoff spot for the Gators.

- They have won five of their last six games, but they are coming off of a 77-68 loss to Grove City on Wednesday.

- Emily Lauer leads the Gators in scoring at 17.8 ppg. She has scored 20+ points on eight different occasions this season, including three of her last four games.
 
McCallen Leading the PAC 
- Maria McCallen leads the PAC in field goal percentage at 52.4%, and she is second in scoring at 18.6 ppg.

- She was held to single-digit scoring on Wednesday for just the third time this season. The last time was on November 20th against Washington & Jefferson when she scored seven points. 
 
Melnyk Climbs the Ranks
- Jazzlyn Melnyk climbed to 6th in all-time scoring with 687 points. Sitting in 5th is Raegan Stead '19 with 704 points. Lacey Huck '15 is the all-time leading scorer with 1,344 points over four seasons in Steubenville.

-Melnyk just passed Lacey Huck '15 to now sit second all-time with 205 assists. Monica Dawyot '16 holds the all-time record with 206. 

- At Geneva, she eclipsed 500 rebounds and now sits 3rd all-time in rebounding with 558 rebounds so far. Marian Weber '11 sits in second with 629 rebounds over her four seasons. Lacey Huck '15 holds the all-time record with 853.

- She climbed into third with 149 steals now in her decorated career. Monica Dawyot '16 sits in second with 154, and  Marian Weber '11 holds the all-time record with 161.
