Franciscan 6, Mount St. Mary's 1
Hilton Head Island, S.C. - The Barons were rained out on Monday, but they brought their 'A' game on Tuesday, as they beat Mount St. Mary College (NY) by a score of 6-1
Doubles
     The Barons earned the doubles' point by winning all three matches. 
Aaron Heinlein and 
Christopher Yvars won in a big way by a score of 8-0. 
Aidan Palladino and 
David Bourdelais were next to finish, as they won 8-6 to secure a 1-0 Franciscan team lead. 
Jeremiah Greve and 
Joel Capelli made it a clean sweep, as they needed a tiebreaker to secure the win at the #3 spot. 
Singles
    Yvars, Heinlein, and Palladino kept up their success from doubles, as they won singles matches in straight sets. 
Michael Nolan played at the #5 spot and won 6-1, 6-3, and 
David Drejza won at #6 without dropping a set. 
    That gave the Barons their second non-conference win of the spring. 
Next Up
    Franciscan will remain busy in Hilton Head Island, as they take on Penn State Harrisburg on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. This will be the first meeting all-time between the Barons and Lions.
