Steubenville, Ohio -Â The match was delayed due to early storms in the area, but when the action got going, the Barons brought their best. With the win today, the Barons improved to 2-1 in PAC play to sit in fourth with five conference matches to go.
Doubles
  Â
Aaron Heinlein and
Christopher Yvars continued their dominance, as they won 6-1 at #1.
David Bourdelais and
Aidan Palladino secured the doubles point for the Barons with a 6-4 win at #2.
Joel Capelli and
Jeremiah Greve lost a close one at #3, so the Barons did not sweep doubles but took a 1-0 lead into singles.
Singles
   Heinlein did not play singles, but that did not stop the Barons from taking care of business.
Aidan Palladino won in straight sets at #1 by a score of 6-0, 6-1.
David Bourdelais went 6-2, 6-2 at #2, and
Christopher Yvars won 6-1, 6-1 at #3 for the Barons to secure four team points and win the match.
Michael Nolan,
Jeremiah Greve, and
Joel Capelli lost in hard-fought matches, as the Barons won 4-3 over the Titans.
Next Up
  Franciscan is scheduled to play at Allegheny on Friday at 2:00 p.m. The Barons are in search of their first win all-time against the Gators. The reigning PAC Champions ended the Barons season last year, as they will need little motivation to get excited to take on the Gators on Friday.
