Steubenville, Ohio - Franciscan Men's Rugby released their fall 2025 schedule, which consists of seven regular season contests before the Allegheny Rugby Union (ARU) Tournament begins in the end of October
The season gets underway at Robert Morris on August 30th for a preseason friendly. They will not play at home until September 20th in their conference opener against Xavier. The following weekend will be Homecoming in Steubenville, as West Virginia University comes to town. The regular season will conclude at home against Kent State on October 18th
Franciscan then shifts focus to postseason play. The ARU Championship Tournament will take place over the next two weekends. The Barons are in search of their sixth conference championship in program history and first since 2019.
The Barons hope to earn their way into the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Championship Tournament which will run through November into December for the National Championship.
