How It Happened
Franciscan made the journey up 79 to take on Grove City on Saturday afternoon. Grove City entered the game as one of four unbeatens in PAC play, as they sit atop the PAC North Division alongside Allegheny. The Wolverines kept up their successful season, as they earned their 10th win.

Lucy Wilkinson led the Barons in the opening quarter with four points to give the offense a boost. The Barons committed nine turnovers, which gave the Wolverines some extra possessions and in turn, a lead of 15-11 after 10 minutes of play. After shooting 50% from the floor in the first quarter, the Barons cooled off a bit in the second. They did possess the ball much better and got quality looks, but the Wolverines expanded the lead to 31-17 at halftime.

McCallen and Jannuzi led the way for the Barons in the second half. McCallen ended up a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line. Neither team was able to make many three-point field goals or fastbreak points, but the Wolverines won the battle in the paint 46-16 to control this one from start to finish.

Inside the Numbers
- McCallen led the Barons with 12 points.
- Melnyk maintained her PAC lead in rebounding with 11 more.
- Jannuzi scored in double-figures for the 10th time this season.
