WASHINGTON, Pa. - Franciscan women's tennis traveled to W&J to compete against the conference opponent, playing a day later than originally planned due to inclement. On a warm, sunny Saturday morning, the Barons lost to the Presidents by a score of 6-1. 

Doubles
The doubles pairs and orders for Franciscan were left unchanged from its last match. Colette Park and Jordan Beltavski were at #1, losing the set by a score of 6-4. Elizabeth Swift and Sophia Pastura won their set at the #2 spot, by a score of 6-3, forcing the doubles point to come down to the #3 pairings. Paige Mattle and Hazel Mistry represented the Barons, who lost by a score of 6-3. 

Singles
Beltavski and Park played at #1 and #2 spots just like they did on Monday. Both lost their respective singles matches in two sets. Pastura was at the #3 slot, losing by a score of 6-1 in each of her sets. Mistry won the Barons a point in her singles match, winning 6-4, 6-4. After Swift played in the #5 spot, Mila Esposito represented the visitors in the #6 singles match, losing 6-2, 6-2.

Next Up
Franciscan will travel to play Thiel Monday at 4 PM. The Tomcats are looking for its first win of the fall season.
